Job description

Mobile UX Designer

Who We Are

Streamline is a fast-growing consultancy specializing in Enterprise Mobility, Product Engineering, and IT Transformation. We’re building something special - a team of top-tier strategists, engineers, and designers who thrive on solving hard problems for enterprise clients. If you want to be part of a company where your contributions are visible from day one, keep reading.

Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated, visionary Mobile UX Designer with an obsession for mobile ecosystems and the drive and talent to help build world-class digital products. As a member of our design team, you won't just follow trends -you’ll set them. We are looking for a "big picture" thinker who can balance pixel-perfect execution with innovative problem-solving.

The Role
This is a full-time remote opportunity. In this role, you will contribute to the end-to-end design process for our flagship mobile applications. You will be responsible for transforming complex requirements into intuitive, elegant, and high-performing mobile experiences.

This role requires deep, practical experience with Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines (HIG). You should be able to walk into an existing app, audit it against HIG, and lead the product and engineering team through a plan to bring it in line with Applenative patterns while respecting enterprise constraints.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mobile-First Strategy: Contribute to the design strategy for iOS and iPadOS, ensuring our products leverage the latest platform capabilities (haptics, widgets, Live Activities, etc.).
  • End-to-End Design: Participate in the full design lifecycle - from initial discovery and user research to high-fidelity prototyping and developer handoff.
  • Innovation: "Think outside the box" to solve complex usability challenges. We want someone who challenges the status quo to create "delight" in the user journey.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers and Engineering leads to ensure design feasibility and alignment with business goals.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Experience: 3 - 5 years of professional experience in UX/Product Design with a mobile-first focus. Exceptional candidates with less experience will absolutely be considered.
  • HIG Expertise: Strong, demonstrable knowledge of Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines. You can point to shipped work where you made specific design decisions (navigation models, controls, typography, motion, spacing) based on HIG and can explain the tradeoffs.”
  • Mobile Mastery: A dedicated focus on mobile UI/UX. You understand the nuances of touch targets, thumb zones, gestures, and mobile-specific micro-interactions.
  • Portfolio: A comprehensive portfolio of current and recent work is mandatory. We want to see case studies that demonstrate your process, your "outside the box" thinking, and the measurable impact of your designs.
  • Tools: Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, and advanced prototyping tools (e.g., ProtoPie, Framer).
Bonus Skills (The "Nice-to-Haves")
  • SwiftUI Familiarity: Understanding the technical constraints and possibilities of SwiftUI to better collaborate with iOS engineers.
  • Motion Design: Ability to create custom transitions and animations that enhance the user experience without being distracting.
  • Accessibility Specialist: Advanced knowledge of WCAG and Apple’s accessibility features (VoiceOver, Dynamic Type, etc.).
Who You Are
  • A Self-Starter: You are highly motivated and don’t wait for permission to innovate.
  • A Storyteller: You can articulate the "why" behind your design decisions to stakeholders at all levels. You are comfortable advocating for Applenative patterns with nondesign stakeholders, explaining why they matter for usability, training, and longterm maintainability.
  • Ambitious & Hungry: You want to grow fast, take on real responsibility, and aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves and wear multiple hats.
Note to Applicants: A portfolio link or PDF of recent mobile work is required with your application.

What We Offer
  • A ground-floor opportunity to shape design culture and make an outsized impact at a growing company.
  • Direct access to leadership and accelerated career growth - your work will be seen, and it will matter.
  • A small, collaborative team where your voice matters and great ideas get implemented fast.
  • Competitive compensation and benefits with room to grow as we grow.
