Protirus’s Consulting Services provide Service Design, Program Management, Deployment & Integration and Operational Optimisation services to customers, carrying out projects from start to finish.

Additionally, our Development arm is a crucial contributing element to the Consulting Services allowing Protirus to provide custom solutions to customer requirements, subsequently delivering cutting edge and comprehensive projects to our customers.  Protirus’ customer list includes some of the world’s largest organisations, and our constant aim is to ensure we provide them unparalleled services and products. You will be working as part of an experienced consulting team, responsible for providing custom solutions to customer problems that can often impact the direction, pace or viability of a security program. This involves working in an environment in which you will be required to interpret business requirements and translate those into technical low level solutions, following best practices processes and practices. 

You will be responsible for configuration, automation and integrations for security vendors’ products, and you will have the ability to review, design, test and debug complex problems. 

Experience

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

Required

•       A minimum of 3 years working in a technical IT role as an engineer, consultant or architect  

•       Comfortable with learning new technologies and adapting to new methodology

•       Ability to problem solve through methodical analysis and propose appropriate solutions  

•       Excellent customer manner

•       Track record of successfully delivering against projects and services of significant complexity and / or scale

•       Ability to gather, translate and then deliver on complex business requirements  

•       Superb written and verbal communications skills in English

•       Ability to prioritise workload under pressure, handle technical escalations  

•       Work independently or as part of a larger team

•       Ability to assimilate, analyse and act appropriately against large quantities of information.

•       Policy Driven Security:

o    Information Security and insider threat – DLP Data at Rest, Data in Motion, Classification and labelling, UBA (e.g. Microsoft Purview, Forcepoint, Symantec)

o    Network protection – Proxy, Firewall, IDS, IPS, Web Isolation, CASB, Micro segmentation, SASE, SSL Decryption, ICAP, SD-WAN

o    Threat Protection – Anti Malware, Endpoint Detection and Response, Sandboxing, Yara Rules

•       Governance and assurance – Patch management, Vulnerability management e.g. Shavlik, Tenable, Nessus

•       Identify Access Management and Single Sign On – CyberArk, SAML, 2FA

•       Automated testing and assurance including ethical hacking – Selenium, Kali Linux  

•       Regulation and/or current standards: ISO27001, ISO27017, EU NIS, PCI DSS< ISO 31000 and GDPR

•       SIEM / Big Data / UBA – Splunk, Elastic Stack (ELK) and ELK based UBA’s

•       Scripting, programming,– any discipline – e.g. PowerShell, Python, SQL, JS, C#

•       Professional and vendor qualifications – TOGAF, CISSP, AWS/AZURE/GCP Architecture and security

•       Cloud adoption – Data centre migrations, workload management, SAAS

•       Automation and orchestration – Tools such as SCCM, Symantec Management Platform, Kubernetes, Ansible

•       Workflows and business process automation - ServiceNow, Salesforce, Symantec Workflow, Decisions
