Associate, SEO Content

Growth Marketing Pro, a hyper-growth SEO, paid marketing, and growth marketing agency, is looking to hire a full-time content manager to support our SEO and Content Marketing teams. We’re looking for someone who wants to learn and grow as an SEO editor, writer, and content strategist. Growth Marketing Pro started as a leading marketing blog and has since evolved into a marketing agency trusted by top companies like HiBob, Cube, and Consensus to drive real results. We’re growing like crazy and are looking to bring on an ambitious, detail-oriented, full-time person to help take our agency to the next level. This is an opportunity to help build an early-stage startup into an industry-leading growth marketing company.

What you’ll do:

The SEO/content person will work alongside internal teams to execute SEO initiatives across a range of clients. This role will entail everything from content updates, outlining, writing, editing and publishing content to conducting keyword research, writing metadata, and other ad hoc SEO projects. Strong attention to detail, project management, communication, and prioritization are must-haves.

You’ll be accountable for:

• Rigorously creating and delivering client content on time
  
• Working with internal GMP teams to deliver and optimize channel strategy
  
• Proactively communicating updates to internal SEO and content teams
  
• Straddling dual priorities across GMP’s internal content engine and client deliverables
  
• Implementing feedback and continuously learning about SEO, content, Reddit, and all other growth marketing
  

Requirements

• 1+ years experience with SEO and content principles and best practices
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong grasp of grammar, spelling, and syntax
  
• Ability to write in different tones and styles to match a specific brand voice and target audience
  
• Understands content flow, heading structure, and has the ability to organize and format content logically
  
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational, prioritization, and project management skills
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  
• Proficiency in Google Suite
  
• Preferred: SEO, editorial, or writing background
  
• Preferred: Experience with SEO, content, and CMS tools (Wordpress, Webflow, etc.)
  

Compensation

• ~40 hours a week, $48,000-$58,000 per year
  
• ~20 hours a week, $20-$25/hr
