About the Job

The team at Laivly is looking for a Senior Software Developers to design, develop, and implement special projects. We’re looking for an entrepreneurial mindset, a fearless attitude, and a passion to take software technology to the next level. Our team not only takes pride in our work, but also in the way we do it.

This role is REMOTE and open to those living in the Philippines.

With most of our team based in North America, this role operates on an overnight schedule to enable real-time collaboration, consistent communication, and strong cross-team support. The standard working hours are 10pm to 5am, Monday to Friday. 

As Senior Software Developer, You Will…

• Support teams of developers to resolve bugs and workarounds for our most critical and impactful products.
• Work with our team of Artificial Intelligence experts to enhance our products

• Work in a fast-paced agile software development environment
• Develop applications that interface with multiple systems (web, desktop, telephony systems, etc.)
• Interact with product stakeholders to show off your work and gain feedback
• Bring your ideas and try new things
• Perform other duties as required

As Senior Software Developer, You Have…

• At least 5 years of software development experience in a variety of technologies
• Developed using Typescript or similar typed language (C#, java, etc.)
• Experience with Object Relationship Mapping like Entity framework
• Worked with databases like MS SQL or Postgres and have advanced knowledge of TSQL
• Strong software architecture and design experience using modern techniques
• Experience with UI/UX design principles and translating them into intuitive user-friendly interfaces 
  
• Strong knowledge of web technologies(Asp.net, CSS, Javascript, JQuery OR desktop application stacks
• Developed using Electron, Vuejs or similar technologies (considered an asset)
• Familiarity with kubernetes and docker is an asset
• Great communication skills and can play nice with others
• Experience with automated testing (Unit testing, Selenium, etc.)
• Built and consumed web services
• Understanding or experience in an agile development environment
• Understanding or experience with automated continuous deployment strategies
• Experience with working within a team, mentoring other developers, empowering and having the backs of your fellow team members
