Remote Associate Attorney – Civil Litigation Defense

Pay: $130,000.00 – $200,000.00 per year

Note: This position is remote but requires the candidate to reside in California.
Note: The qualified candidate for this position must be licensed with the State Bar of California and have at least 1 year of civil litigation defense experience

Job Description

• Represent clients in civil litigation defense matters from case intake through resolution
• Handle discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediations, and trial preparation
• Draft pleadings, briefs, and correspondence with accuracy and attention to detail
• Appear in court as needed and communicate directly with clients
• Manage caseload independently while also collaborating with senior attorneys
• Contribute to firm strategy, case development, and long-term client relationships

Qualifications

• Licensed attorney with the State Bar of California (required)
• Minimum 1 year of civil litigation defense experience
• Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Trial experience or genuine interest in trial work is a plus
