Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 2.5 years of drafting or CAD design experience, ideally in construction, engineering, or architecture.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit) with a solid grasp of drafting principles and techniques.
• Experience creating Bills of Materials (BOM) or Material Take-Offs (MTO) for structural steel projects (similar experience considered). 
• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and applicable building codes and regulations. 
• High attention to detail and accuracy in creating technical drawings, schematics, and material specifications. 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with diverse project teams.

Core responsibilities:

• Develop detailed technical drawings, schematics, and plans based on specifications and instructions. 
• Use CAD software to create accurate drawings, including dimensions, annotations, and required symbols. 
• Assist with the preparation and modification of drawings for various construction and engineering projects.
• Collaborate with project teams to review, identify, and correct drawing discrepancies or errors.
• Create and update Bills of Materials (BOM) and Material Take-Offs (MTO) for structural steel requirements. 
• Coordinate with stakeholders to gather details, clarify requirements, and resolve design-related issues. 
• Review drawings to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with industry standards and codes.
