  • Coordinate marketing execution support, including simple Webflow transitions when appropriate and collaboration with internal teams across SEO, PPC, Local Marketing, and Content
  • Ensure accountability by educating clients on package inclusions, maintaining up-to-date account notes and reports, and delivering consistent, measurable results

This is a remote position.

Overview

As a Strategic Account Manager, you are responsible for supporting and growing relationships with small businesses and entry-level clients. These accounts may have modest budgets, but they play an essential role in our overall portfolio. Your focus is on retention, communication, basic strategy support, and creating opportunities for long-term growth.

You will provide reliable, consistent service, help clients understand the value of their investment, and ensure steady performance within their means. Success in this role is measured by client retention, service usage, light upsells, and client satisfaction.




Key Responsibilities & Leadership Scope

1. Managing & Retaining Foundational Accounts

Act as Primary Point of Contact – Maintain day-to-day communication and foster strong relationships with small business clients.
Offer Accessible Strategy & Support – Provide simplified guidance aligned with clients' business size, goals, and resources.
Ensure Retention & Client Confidence – Proactively check in, answer questions, and resolve issues to keep clients engaged.

2. Account Development & Modest Expansion

Identify Growth Opportunities – Recommend small upgrades or additional services that align with client goals.
Encourage Continued Partnership – Help clients understand how to grow with CI Web Group at their own pace.
Cultivate Client Referrals – Use positive relationships to spark peer-to-peer referrals and local introductions.

3. Marketing Execution Support

Coordinate Simple Webflow Transitions – Support migrations to Webflow when appropriate, using scalable, efficient templates.
Work with Internal Teams for Execution – Ensure clients receive smooth service across SEO, PPC, Local Marketing, and Content.
Keep Campaigns Lean & Focused – Prioritize high-impact tasks that stay within budget and deliver noticeable results.

4. Performance & Service Accountability

Educate Clients on Package Inclusions – Ensure clients understand and fully utilize the services available to them.
Maintain Up-to-Date Account Notes & Reports – Track updates, progress, and communication for each client.
Deliver Consistency & Measurable Outcomes – Focus on timely execution and ongoing value delivery.
