Roles & Responsibilities

3+ years of SAP Hybris development experience across multiple Hybris modules (e.g., Search, Navigation, Account Management, Checkout, Cart, Order Management).
Strong expertise in SAP Hybris, Java/J2EE, Spring, REST/SOAP APIs, JavaScript, JSP, JUnit, HTML5/CSS.
Experience with test-driven development, unit test automation, and deployment automation; CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab.
Experience with performance and quality tools (AppDynamics, Dynatrace; SonarQube/Coverity) and secure coding practices.

Requirements:

Own a SAP Hybris module end-to-end (design, development, testing, deployment) ensuring scalable, robust, and secure ecommerce functionality.
Develop and integrate Hybris modules (e.g., Search, Navigation, Checkout, Cart, Payments) with external systems (ERP, payment gateways, tax, web services) and ensure high performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams across locations in an Agile DevSecOps environment, driving Jira processes and CI/CD pipelines for timely delivery.
Promote quality through test-driven development, automated tests, code reviews, and monitoring/resolution using tools like SonarQube, AppDynamics, and Dynatrace.

Job description

This is a remote position.

Min 3-5 years of Hybris Experience with various Hybris modules. Should have working experience as individual senior developer in the current role. Willing to own a Module for all its technical needs and delivery. Overall Industry Experience should be more that 4+ years in Development role.

Requirements

Basic Qualification (Required Skills / Experience)

Excellent knowledge and experience in building testable, scalable, robust and efficient ecommerce applications using SAP Hybris & Java / J2EE technologies

Experience in successfully developing, testing (including unit test automation) and deploying (including deployment automation) of SAP Hybris & J2EE applications.

Excellent expertise in ecommerce tools & technologies such as Hybris, Java / J2EE, Spring, JavaScript, JSP, REST / SOAP APIs, JUnit, CSS & HTML 5

Experience in SAP Hybris applications and writing high performance code
Experience in addressing quality / security issues in tools like SonarQube, Coverity, etc

Experience in secure coding

Experience in Application Performance Monitoring tools like AppDynamics and Dynatrace

Good working knowledge with minimum 2 or more implementations of Hybris modules – Search & Navigation, Account Management, Promotions & Vouchers, Payment Integrations, Catalog / Content Management, Checkout, Cart, Order Management System, Business Processes, Consignments, Datahub, OCC Layer, ASM, Backoffice & SAP Integrations.

Good working knowledge on integrations such as payment (Pay metrics), Tax, APT SAP, web services, RFC calls etc

Good exposure towards test-driven development while using the industry best practices with an ability to write new test suites

Good knowledge and experience in continuous integration & continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline from scratch and familiarity of using tools like Jenkins, GitLab

Good exposure on Agile & DevSecOps methodologies and is comfortable in using Jira & CI/CD tools

Effective in resolving problems and roadblocks by consistently following through on details while driving Innovation as well as issue resolution

Must have working experience with cross-functional teams spread across multiple products and locations and external partners across different cultures and time-zones

Experience in the following areas would be preferred –

Familiarity with usage of Jira, Confluence, etc.

Familiarity with using SAP ECC or other ERP application

Awareness SAP PI / EDI based integrations

Knowledge of Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Kinbana

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or engineering is required.

Minimum of 3+ years of experience with software development and support of ecommerce applications (SAP Hybris / J2EE) with minimum of 3+ years of experience in SAP Hybris

Candidates with SAP Hybris certification would be preferred

Candidates with experience in SAFe Agile methodologies would be preferred
