Job description

This is a remote position.

We're looking for a motivated IT Technician Intern to join Weibermacht Consulting. Join our boutique firm, where fresh ideas are valued. You'll gain hands-on tech experience, support our team, and contribute to our growth.

Responsibilities:

Help Desk Support:

Assist in providing technical support to internal users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues.

Hardware and Software Setup:

Assist with the setup, installation, and configuration of computers, printers, and other peripherals.

System Maintenance and Monitoring:

Assist in monitoring system performance, identifying and addressing potential issues.

User Account Management:

Assist in user account creation, modification, and termination.

Documentation and Knowledge Base:

Help maintain and update technical documentation, procedures, and knowledge base articles.

IT Projects and Initiatives:

Contribute to IT projects and initiatives as assigned, such as system upgrades or software implementations.

Qualifications:

·       Currently enrolled in a college or university program or taking a sabbatical, interest in in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
·       0-2 years’ experience in Info Tech functions.
·       Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts.
·       Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
·       Familiarity with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
·       Knowledge of basic networking principles, protocols, and troubleshooting.
·       Good communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals.
·       Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
·       A proactive attitude, eagerness to learn, and a passion for technology.

Duration and Schedule:

This internship can be part-time or full-time, depending on the availability and agreement with the intern. The schedule can be flexible to accommodate academic requirements if applicable.

Work Schedule:

10 – 20 hours per week; flexible hours.

Length of appointment: Flexible with class schedules.

Time commitment: 10-20 hours per week, depending on the availability.

Support provided: This position will be supervised by the Chief Visionary Officer. Detailed instructions for all tasks will be provided.
