Data Privacy And AI Risk Management SME

This is a remote position.

Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following, or related fields: Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Law. Desirable:

• Professional data privacy related certifications such as Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP), Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM),

   Certified Information Privacy Technologist (CIPT), Artificial Intelligence Governance Professional (AIGP)

Skills Set & Experience

Required:

• Knowledge and hands on experience of at least 5 years in data privacy and data protection.

• Proven track record of supporting the implementation of privacy processes and controls.

• Knowledge and hands on experience in ensuring compliance to data protection frameworks such as GDPR.

• Proficiency in assessment of privacy risks and development of effective privacy risk mitigation recommendations.

• Solid understanding of Privacy by Design principles and related frameworks such as NIST Privacy Framework, ISO 27701 etc.

• Experience with AI technologies, machine learning models, or related fields.

• Strong knowledge of AI ethics and risk management principles and proficiency in conducting privacy and AI risk assessments.

• Solid understanding of AI risk management principles and related frameworks such as NIST AI Risk Management Framework, EU AI act , etc.

• The SME is expected to be fluent in English as the primary language for work.

Desirable:

• Knowledge of French is optional and considered an added advantage as it is WIPO’s second working language.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex privacy and AI concepts to technical and non[1]technical audiences.
