Roles & Responsibilities

  • 10+ years of hands-on experience developing and deploying IT systems and web applications using Java technologies
  • 3+ years of solid experience with Angular frontends
  • Strong computer science fundamentals and excellent spoken and written English
  • High attention to detail with a proven track record of excellent teamwork

Requirements:

  • Develop and deploy IT systems and web applications using Java technologies (Java, Spring, JEE, JPA, Hibernate, Maven) and Angular frontends
  • Design, implement, test, and maintain scalable software with emphasis on code quality, performance, and reliability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in QA activities, and follow Agile methodologies (SCRUM)
  • Support deployment automation and cloud infrastructure using AWS services and related tools (Docker, CI/CD pipelines)

Job description

This is a remote position.

Range of years of experience: 5+ years (standard) or 10+ years (senior)

 

Skills:

Mandatory

• Extensive hands-on experience in the development and deployment of IT systems and web applications based on Java technologies, with a minimum of 10 years of experience.

• At least 3 years of solid experience with Angular frontends.

• Strong computer science skills.

• Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English.

• High attention to detail.

• Proven record of excellent teamwork.

 

Desirable

• Experience with QA activities.

• Familiarity with data management.

• Experience with Agile methodologies, preferably SCRUM.

• Experience with AWS services and deployment automation

 

Technologies and tools:

Mandatory Hands-on extensive experience in following technical areas:

• Java, Spring (including Spring Boot), JEE, JPA, Hibernate, Maven

• Angular, HTML, CSS, JavaScript

• RDBMS, ideally Oracle

Desirable

• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Bamboo

• Familiarity with Docker

• AWS services and deployment automation
