Roles & Responsibilities

5+ years of experience in cloud architecture, with 3+ years specifically on AWS
Hands-on experience with AWS Control Tower for account orchestration and governance, and deep understanding of AWS Organizations and multi-account strategies
Proficiency with infrastructure as code tools (CloudFormation, Terraform, CDK) and experience with AWS security services (Security Hub, GuardDuty, Config, CloudTrail)
Experience with AWS GovCloud (US) environments and knowledge of FedRAMP compliance requirements, controls, and authorization processes; strong AWS networking (VPC, VPN, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway) and IAM expertise (policy design and identity federation)

Requirements:

Design, implement, and manage the organization's AWS cloud infrastructure to deliver scalable, secure, and compliant architectures
Establish and maintain AWS environments, including account structure (AWS Organizations, Control Tower, Landing Zone) and governance frameworks
Design and implement networking and security controls across AWS (VPC, VPN, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway; IAM policy design and identity federation) and coordinate with security teams
Automate and enforce infrastructure as code using CloudFormation, Terraform, or CDK, and utilize AWS security services (Security Hub, GuardDuty, Config, CloudTrail) for continuous compliance

Job description

AWS Cloud Infrastructure Architect

We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Architect to design, implement, and manage our organization's cloud infrastructure on AWS. This role will be responsible for establishing and maintaining our AWS environment, including account structure, networking, security, and governance frameworks.

Required Qualifications

Technical Skills

5+ years of experience in cloud architecture, with 3+ years specifically on AWS
Deep understanding of AWS Organizations and multi-account strategies
Hands-on experience with AWS Control Tower for account orchestration and governance
Proficiency in Landing Zone Architecture (LZA) design and implementation
Experience working with AWS GovCloud (US) environments
Knowledge of FedRAMP compliance requirements, controls, and authorization processes
Expert knowledge of AWS networking services (VPC, VPN, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway)
Strong expertise in IAM, including policy design and identity federation
Proven experience implementing security best practices and compliance frameworks
