SAP SAC BW Analytics Lead Consultant

Our current client is searching for an SAP SAC BW Analytics Lead Consultant for a 1 year contract with a major Food Distributor.

The SAP SAC BW Analytics Lead Consultant will be responsible for the successful delivery of functional and technical components of SAP SAC, BW, S4 concepts. The SAP Analytics Lead Consultant is expected to apply functional and technical integration knowledge of SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools, S/4, Reports, Storyboards, Dashboards and visualization. This include engaging with all levels of a business stakeholders and be comfortable in front of the Business and IT departments, advise clients of leading practices.

Key Accountabilities:

• Design/Build/Test/Deploy interactive analytical reports and dashboards using SAC and BW for HANA

• Facilitates discussions with stakeholders, process owners, and end-users to define business, financial, and operations requirements and systems goals, and identify and resolve systems issues.

• Lead/Facilitate design sessions in prototyping and designing Analytical Applications using SAC - creating dashboards, digital boards, advanced story designing, optimizing models, linked analysis, data blending, custom calculations, input controls, CSS styles and JavaScript customizations for responsive and interactive visualizations.

• Coordinates, review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems.

• Support the Business Process and Solution Architecture design sessions; Create functional specifications for development requirements

• Work with customers’ teams of business analysts to provide business application support for all the company’s financial management systems and related applications

• Provide support for applicants to include problem identification, reporting, tracking analysis and resolution

• Provide continuous feedback on project status and offer constructive options to ensure project continues to meet original expectations

• Ability to work as a visualization expert to implement the best visualization stories for customer’s business KPI’s

Primarily Remote, with some possible travel to client site if necessary

Skills/Qualifications:

• SAP BW, SAC, ABAP, integration with S/4 and ECC, BPC, IBP, SLT.

• Experience in Extracted data using flat files, DB Connect, UD Connect, Generic extraction, LO cockpit, LIS and FI-SL extractors, BI-Accelerator, BODS, CDS Views, SLT and ODP Extractors, SAP Data Hub, SAP Data Intelligence and other third-party database systems.

• Experience in SAP modules PTD/RTR/OTC/ BPC / IBP.

• Solid knowledge Involved in creating custom extractors, data flows, Process Chains, User-Exits, Function Modules, CDS Views, data mart interface, BEx Queries, Attribute Views, Analytical Views, Calculation Views (Graphical/SQL), Procedures etc.

• Experience in Data Modelling / Design

• Experience in Report Design / Creation / Model Wizard, Adjustment system

• Experience in Standard Planning Functionalities (simple projections, dynamic hierarchies, changing granularities)

• Experience in instant reporting (incl. drill downs, dynamic change / add of reports by users, mobile interface on reports)
