This is a remote position.
The Azure DevOps Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and automation solutions on Microsoft Azure. The role supports secure, scalable, and compliant deployments for US government programs and requires adherence to federal security standards.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins
Automate infrastructure provisioning using ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform
Manage Azure resources including App Services, AKS, Virtual Machines, Storage, and Networking
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management best practices
Support containerized workloads using Docker and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
Implement monitoring and logging using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights
Ensure security, compliance, and access controls using Azure AD, RBAC, Key Vault, and Managed Identity
Collaborate with development and security teams to support DevSecOps practices
Troubleshoot deployment, performance, and infrastructure issues across environments
Support environment management across Dev, Test, Staging, and Production
Required Skills & Experience:
Strong experience with Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines, Boards, Artifacts)
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline automation
Solid understanding of Azure core services
Experience with IaC tools (ARM, Bicep, Terraform)
Containerization experience with Docker and AKS
Scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python
Experience implementing security best practices in Azure
Familiarity with federal or government cloud environments
Strong troubleshooting and collaboration skills
