Roles & Responsibilities

  • Maintain data accuracy and planning discipline by ensuring master data and system inputs are up to date; support continuous improvement of planning tools and processes
  • Drive structural inventory reduction and governance to reduce excess/obsolete stock through run strategy improvements, MOQ alignment, and phase-out planning

Description

The Supply Planner is responsible for translating demand plans into executable supply plans that support unmissable service, healthy inventory, and operational stability. This role focuses on short- to mid-term supply planning, master data accuracy, and cross-functional coordination to ensure product availability across a dynamic, multi-node supply network. The Supply Planner partners closely with Demand Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Logistics teams to ensure plans are aligned, feasible, and executed effectively.

What You’ll Do

  • Day to Day Planning Operations: Deliver unmissable customer service through proactive management and mitigation of supply disruptions. Partner seamlessly with cross functional partners to give visibility & clarity on any risk to service. Own health & efficiency of our inventory. and providing visibility/clarity on inventory availability and risk, etc.
  • Monitor Supply Health and Risk: Identify potential supply risks, constraints, and gaps; escalate issues with clear data and proposed actions. Support mitigation planning to minimize service disruption.
  • Maintain Data Accuracy and Planning Discipline: Ensure master data, planning parameters, and system inputs are accurate and up to date. Support continuous improvement of planning tools, reports, and processes.
  • Drive Structural Inventory Reduction and Excess & Obsolete Governance: Drive structural improvements in run strategy, MOQ alignment, phase-out planning, and supply hygiene to reduce excess and slow-moving inventory.

Key Performance Indicators

  • Service Excellence: Service Rate, On-Shelf Availability
  • Inventory Optimization: Working Capital, Inventory Cover, Reduction in E&O
  • Customer Collaboration: Reduction in Return (RTV)
  • Operational Agility: Reduced planned frozen horizon & decreased material lead time
  • Process Improvement: Embrace automation and increase reliability of service through exception based planning & mitigation of service disruption through longer term strategic initiatives.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or related field.
  • Experience: 2-5 years in integrated supply chain planning roles; CPG strongly preferred.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with planning/analytics tools. Net Suites / Oracle a plus.
  • Communication: Ability to collaborate effectively with external partners and lead internal cross functional collaboration. Ability to clearly communicate service risks and summarize complex situations in simple terms.


Annual Base Compensation range: $80,000 - $110,000 (commensurate with experience)
