Newfi Lending is hiring a REMOTE Mortgage Closer

Primary Responsibilities:

• Oversees pipeline of loans through the closing process
• Balances Closing Disclosure and reviews file as part of generating complete closing package to send to closing agent
• Review signed loan docs to ensure all required docs have been executed properly
• Oversees a pipeline of signed funding packages to ensure all loans fund as scheduled
• Works with investors, processors, and support staff to satisfy post-funding conditions
• Perfect funding packages in preparation for submission to capital markets purchase activity
• Prepare Post Consummation CDs as needed
• Communicate with internal and external partners as required

• Minimum of three (2) years’ experience in the Closing and Funding
• Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations in order to ensure compliance as well as extensive knowledge of recent TRID regulations
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
• Knowledge of computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is required
• Knowledge of lending guidelines for multiple states is a plus
