Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain features on CloudBees CI, our solution based on Jenkins.
• Collaborate with other teams to gather functionalities and align visions.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, provide technical leadership, and drive process improvements.
• Implement and spread best practices for secure coding, code quality, automated testing, and code reviews to ensure software reliability and performance.
• Guide, mentor and develop test strategy and accompanying automated tests for unit and integration level testing for execution within software delivery pipelines.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies, tools and cloud computing.
• Provide technical support and guidance to customers.

Qualifications

Required:

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, including significant contributions to the Continuous Integration domain.
• 3+ years of experience with Java (preferred) or Groovy is a must. 
• Experience on Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, React, Helm, Maven, Quarkus, Go, Git is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of developer tools such as Continuous Integration systems, test tools, code quality tools, planning tools, IDEs and debugging tools.
• Excellent debugging and problem solving skills along with a desire to dive into the existing Java stack.
• Cloud certification (AWS/GCP/Azure) or Agile certification is a big plus.
• Proven ability to lead and influence technical decisions across the organization.

Working Conditions

• Standard working hours: 9am - 6pm., Mon–Fri, or as per business needs
• Work location / travel expectations: Remote
