Director Product Management

3Si is a software (SaaS) company that helps governments, nonprofits, and philanthropies use data to improve the lives of children. We work with a network of state and city governments to build data systems that help identify and address early childhood service gaps. We are seeking a mission driven Director Product Management to join our Product team. We are seeking a seasoned product leader who can set a compelling multi-year vision, scale a SaaS portfolio, and build a high-performing product organization that drives measurable growth and customer impact.

This is a fully REMOTE position. Only applicants who currently reside in California, Colorado, Oregon, and Washington State will be considered for this role.  

The Director Product Management leads 3Si’s overall product strategy and portfolio, balancing investments across multiple products while mentoring and developing the product team. This role owns the multi-year vision, ensuring alignment with company goals, and drives portfolio-wide adoption, performance and market impact. As a senior leader, this position partners with executives and cross-functional teams to translate business objectives into product strategies that accelerate growth, strengthen customer value, and position 3Si competitively in the marketplace. 

What You Will Do

• Define and communicate the multi-year product vision and strategy aligned with company goals. 
• Prioritize investment areas across products based on market trends, customer needs, and business impact. 
• Own the overall product portfolio roadmap, balance resources and priorities across multiple products. 
• Drive decisions on trade-offs between innovation, scalability and revenue impact. 
• Lead, mentor, and develop a growing product team; foster a high-performing, customer-centric culture across the product org. 
• Oversee market research, customer feedback synthesis, and competitive intelligence at the portfolio level.
• Ensure insights translate into strategic priorities and product investment decisions.
• Establish and monitor portfolio wide KPI’s to track product performance, adoption and customer outcomes; report progress and strategic impact to executives. 
• Define product success metrics and drive data-informed decision-making to optimize adoption and performance.
• Partner with Sales & Marketing, and Customer Success to define go-to-market strategies, pricing and positioning. 

What You Will Bring

• Ten or more years’ experience in product management, with a focus on software products or SaaS solutions. 
• Bachelor’s Degree required; Advanced degree preferred in a relevant field (e.g., Statistics, Business, Engineering, Information Systems)
• Proven track record of building and scaling SaaS products
• Strong strategic thinking combined with hands-on ability to drive execution
• Experience managing product teams and mentoring product managers
• Proficient with data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, R. 
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite required.
• Familiarity with agile development practices and modern product management tools
• Exceptional communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills 
• Data-driven mindset with ability to balance qualitative insights into customer empathy
• Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to adapt to change and manage competing priorities effectively.
