Roles & Responsibilities

  • Bachelor of Science or Engineering (Computer or Electronics)
  • 5+ years of experience in SharePoint and .NET development
  • Strong experience with Office 365 / SharePoint Online and multiple versions (MOSS 2007 to SharePoint 2016) and SPFx/React
  • Proficiency in SQL Server development (T-SQL, views, stored procedures) and related development tools (TFS/Azure DevOps/GIT)

Requirements:

  • Develop and customize SharePoint solutions across on-premises and Online, including installation, configuration, branding, search, taxonomy, user profiles, CSOM, REST, and workflow components
  • Lead and participate in planning, architecture, upgrades/migrations (e.g., 2007/2010/2013/2016 to Office 365), and deliver best-practice plans
  • Develop .NET and SQL Server components (C#, ASP.NET, MVC, T-SQL, views, stored procedures) and integrate with SharePoint applications
  • Provide administration, maintenance, troubleshooting, requirement gathering, client interaction, deployment, testing, and issue resolution; work in Agile environments; serve as Technical Lead/Module Lead or POC as required

This is a remote position.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
• SharePoint development including Installation, Configuration, Customization, Collaboration, Custom Web
Parts (React, SPFx), Reports, Search, Shared Services Provider, My Sites, Microsoft Office Share Point
Server (MOSS) 2007/2010/2013/2016/SharePoint Online, SharePoint Apps, OData, CSOM, Active
Directory, Backup & Restore using STSADM/PowerShell, REST API, Content Deployment, Timer Jobs,
Taxonomy, User Profiles, BCS, Client Object Model, UI and Migration.
• .NET Framework development including C#.NET, ASP.NET, Class Libraries, Web Applications, MVC, Web
Services, Full Stack and Core.
• SQL Server development including T-SQL queries, views, stored procedures and functions.
• Actively involving during the planning phase of your SharePoint deployment.
• Providing Best practice approaches and building proper plans that are achievable.
• Upgrading the existing SharePoint 2007 collaboration site to SharePoint 2010,2013,2016 and Office 365.
• Experience in Installing, Configuring, Administrating, Maintaining and Troubleshooting Microsoft Office
SharePoint Server (MOSS) 2007 / WSS 3.0, SharePoint 2010, 2013, 2016 and Office 365. SharePoint
customizations, Branding, site configuration and site administration
• Performed different roles along with the Development as part of Engagement viz., Technical Lead, Module
Lead, Onsite POC, Offshore POC, Administration of Web Application etc. Based on the project
requirement, have taken care of multiple responsibilities like Client Interaction, Requirement Gathering,
Development, Designing, Deployment, Unit Testing, Integration Testing, and Issue Fixing.

Skills and Competencies
• Strong ability to facilitate meetings with individuals and groups to gather, understand, and articulate their
business needs.
• Experience in working at Client site, gathering requirements, and translation of business requirement to
solutions
• Extensively work on office 365, SharePoint Online, SharePoint 2016, SharePoint Server 2013 SharePoint
Server 2010, Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007, ASP.Net using C#, SQL Server, T-SQL queries,
REACT, SPFx.

• Proven ability to interact with end users and gather and document complex user / business requirements
• Strong hands-on experience on issue tracking tools like TFS, Azure DevOps, GIT. as well as exposure to
configuration management, deployment, and application rollouts.
• Quickly learn and master new technology; equally successful in both team and self-directed settings; and
proficient in a range of computer systems, languages, tools, and methodologies
• Having experience in designing, developing, and testing client applications as part of software
development cycle using an agile development approach.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and perform as part of a team.
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills, Able to interact with
individuals at all levels.
