Requirements:

  • Shape and scale real-time data streaming systems powering in-the-moment decisions; architect and improve services processing millions of events per second with single-digit millisecond latency
  • Lead a hands-on team tackling ultra-low-latency ingestion, distributed caching, deduplication at scale, and fault-tolerant event computation
  • Own major initiatives in a fast-moving, high-autonomy environment, delivering measurable customer outcomes from throughput and latency improvements
  • Mentor teammates and communicate effectively to align stakeholders and drive technical decisions

This is a remote position.

The Role

We’re searching for a Principal Engineer to shape and scale our real-time data streaming systems — the backbone powering billions of in-the-moment decisions across our platform. You’ll architect and improve services that process millions of events per second with single‑digit millisecond latency, touching almost every part of our data plane.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role on a small team tackling challenges few companies face: ultra‑low‑latency ingestion, distributed caching, deduplication at scale, and fault‑tolerant event computation. You’ll be the type of engineer who gets excited by raw throughput charts, but even more excited when they translate into better customer outcomes.

Salary: Up to $300,000 USD + Perks
