Cloud Engineer (Azure)

Right now, we are looking for a Cloud Engineer to integrate our internal team.

Your responsibilities include:

• You will implement and deploy cloud solutions, through the usage of Terraform (IaC), following the best practices specified within the Cloud Centre of Excellence team and be in touch with the 3 major cloud service providers: Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS), with greater focus on Azure;
  
• You will discuss architectures with direct customer, specifying the best approaches for each use case, following Azure's best practices, while focusing on the customer requirements;
  
• You will help maintain and improve the governance of each Cloud by enabling and facilitating the global usage, while setting rails and policies to safeguard mis use;
  
• You will analyse existent infrastructures, provide insight on how to optimize them (following the R’s migration methodology) and help deploy the changes, while following FinOps methodologies;
  
• You will use, manage and deploy applications on Kubernetes clusters within Cloud providers;
  
• You will integrate third-party tools with Cloud providers through Identity Providers (IdP such as EntraID or Okta).
  

You must have:

• 4 years of professional experience with at least one major cloud service provider, preferably Azure;
  
• 1 or more professional level cloud certifications (example: AZ-305, AZ-400);
  
• Knowledge on design and implementation of cloud-based architectures;
  
• Ability to automate repetitive tasks (scripting skills in Bash/PowerShell/Python);
  
• Experience with microservice architectures on Kubernetes;
  
• Proven experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices and patterns – Terraform, Ansible, etc;
  
• Solid understanding of modern information implementation methodologies and standards, especially in cloud environments;
  
• Proven experience with git practices and patterns;
  
• Fluency in Portuguese and English (speaking, reading and writing).
