Job Title: Epic MyChart Implementation Analyst

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Epic MyChart Implementation Analyst to join our healthcare IT team. This role is essential for implementing and optimizing the Epic MyChart patient portal module, enhancing patient engagement and access to health information. The successful candidate will have in-depth knowledge of the Epic MyChart system and a proven track record of implementing and supporting this module within a healthcare setting. The analyst will collaborate with clinical and IT teams to ensure the successful deployment and ongoing support of the Epic MyChart module.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementation Support:

    • Assist in the planning, design, build, and deployment phases of the Epic MyChart module.
    • Conduct comprehensive system analysis to ensure that the configuration meets the needs of patient engagement and health information access.
    • Customize and configure the Epic MyChart module according to organizational requirements and best practices.
  • Collaboration and Communication:

    • Work closely with clinical staff, patient engagement teams, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
    • Facilitate effective communication between clinical staff, IT teams, and patients to ensure alignment and understanding.
    • Provide regular status updates to project managers and leadership regarding the progress of the implementation.
  • System Testing and Validation:

    • Develop and execute test plans to ensure the functionality and reliability of the Epic MyChart module.
    • Identify and troubleshoot issues during the testing phase, providing timely resolutions.
    • Ensure all configurations are thoroughly validated before go-live.
  • Training and Support:

    • Develop and deliver training programs for end-users to ensure effective utilization of the Epic MyChart module.
    • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance to users post-deployment.
    • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation and training materials.
  • Optimization and Maintenance:

    • Continuously monitor the performance of the Epic MyChart module and identify opportunities for optimization.
    • Implement updates and enhancements to improve system functionality and user experience.
    • Stay current with Epic system updates and new features related to the MyChart module.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in implementing and supporting the Epic MyChart module.
    • Proven track record of successful Epic module implementations, specifically in patient portal settings.
  • Skills:

    • In-depth knowledge of the Epic MyChart module and its configuration.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
    • Proficiency in using Epic EHR and related tools.

Salary: 80000-120000
