Job description
This is a remote position.
For an International Institution we are urgently looking for a full remote Senior Automation tester with Python and Pytest experience. As a Senior Software Tester, you are responsible for the design and implementation of the set of automated tests covering ETL pipeline and for generation of a test dataset comparable in size with the annual load of production system and with similar probability distributions.
Candidates need to be fluent in English. This positions is long-term. Work permit is required. Candidates need to be based in Europe.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and remediate data problems affecting availability and functionality;
Assist and work with the Solution Architect and Senior Data Warehouse Specialist to develop, test and deliver the various Work Packages as further detailed below under “deliverables”;
Ensure alignment with UN’s technical standards and procedures;
Efficiently collaborate with other team members and stakeholders;
Activity tracking with JIRA, CICD pipeline usage and alignment with Cloud unit practices;
Perform other related duties as required;
Profile:
Bachelor or Master degree;
+5 years of experience in tests automation, especially database testing;
Experience in Python and Pytest;
Significant experience in test cases design and implementation, data modelling;
