Oracle DBA - Database Admin

Job Title: Oracle DBA – Database Administrator

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to manage, maintain, and optimize Oracle database environments. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in installation, configuration, performance tuning, backup & recovery, and high availability setups for mission-critical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle databases (11g / 12c / 19c)
  

• Monitor database performance and implement performance tuning
  

• Manage Backup & Recovery strategies using RMAN
  

• Implement and maintain High Availability solutions (RAC, Data Guard)
  

• Perform database patching, migration, and upgrades
  

• Ensure database security, user access management, and compliance
  

• Troubleshoot production issues and provide root cause analysis
  

• Conduct database health checks and capacity planning
  

• Work closely with application and infrastructure teams
  

Required Skills:

• Strong experience with Oracle 11g / 12c / 19c
  

• Hands-on experience with RMAN, RAC, and Data Guard
  

• Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL
  

• Experience working in Linux/Unix environments
  

• Knowledge of Shell scripting
  

• Strong database performance tuning skills
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Oracle Certified Professional (OCP)
  

• Experience with Cloud platforms (OCI / AWS / Azure)
  

• Experience in Banking / Telecom / Enterprise environments
