Job description

This is a remote position.

AIMCOR Enterprise Insurance Group “AIMCOR EIG”, a national insurance distribution organization, has an exciting sales opportunity in the financial services industry as an External Life Wholesaler working with financial professionals to provide their clients with protection and retirement solutions.

 

AIMCOR EIG is looking for a driven, dynamic individual to join our growing team in the southeastern region as an External Wholesaler. This position is critical in the success of AIMCOR EIG’s financial institution and broker/dealer distribution strategy and is responsible for achieving the region’s annual revenue forecast by providing assisted-sales support across the region.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting assigned national and local accounts through in-person and virtual representative appointments, educational group sessions, conferences, and client point-of-sale meetings.
  • Promoting the AIMCOR EIG service offering and product portfolio within approved financial institutions.
  • Collaborate with licensed professionals to incorporate insurance and protection products into their client's financial plans.
  • Develop and implement an activity plan that maximizes field contacts within assigned territory and/or relationships.
  • Work in conjunction with the internal support team to prospect, profile and manage assigned relationships.
  • Monitor actual sales results; comparing results to plan forecast and adjusting as needed.
  • Leverage and coordinate regional and Home Office resources.
  • Support AIMCOR EIG and the distribution efforts of the insurance carriers that AIMCOR distributes at industry functions, local, regional and potentially national level.
  • Establish and maintain strategic national, regional, and local relationships within the region.
  • Manage to a specific T&E budget.
  • Focus on high producing relationships to improve retention and increase productivity
  • Fact-finding and prospecting within the region and to assigned relationships to maximize sales results.
  • Train and educate assigned financial professionals on concepts, product solutions, and marketing ideas.
  • Assist financial professionals at the point-of-sale during client meetings (either virtual or in-person).
  • Conduct meetings, seminars and training workshops to current and prospective relationships to increase the knowledge of available product lines and articulate the AIMCOR value proposition.
  • Maintain a constant focus on developing new relationships to foster sales growth.


Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Goal-oriented, self-starter possessing excellent communication and presentation skills;
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers
  • Understanding and ability to explain sales process
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills with ability to conduct face-to-face meetings, webinars and speak in front of large audiences
  • Ability to work effectively with little daily supervision—self-starting, exhibits a high degree of organizational discipline, and is goal/results oriented
  • FINRA Series 6 or 7 or obtained within 90 days of hire and appropriate state life & annuity insurance licenses. Pertinent industry designations are a plus.
  • Proficient in utilizing relevant technology (i.e., laptop computers, PowerPoint)
  • Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to build, manage and develop strong interpersonal relationships
  • A successful track record within the financial services industry, preferably focused on life insurance strategies;
  • Knowledge of life insurance products and their applications in estate, retirement, and business planning;
