Job description
This is a remote position.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Math Tutor to provide live, online lessons to students. The tutor will be responsible for teaching Math in a clear and engaging manner, creating lesson plans, and offering individualized support to students. Our ideal candidate will have experience teaching math at different levels, from high school to college.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality, interactive math lessons for students of various ages and levels.
Teach topics such as Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus, Statistics, and more.
Customize lesson plans based on individual student needs and progress.
Help students understand difficult concepts by breaking them down into manageable steps.
Provide constructive feedback and regular progress updates to students and their parents.
Use online tools (Zoom, Google Meet, and other educational software) to conduct lessons effectively.
Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment that motivates students.
Requirements
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics or a related field.
At least 1-2 years of experience teaching Math online (preferred).
Proficiency in using online teaching platforms (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet, etc.).
Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles.
Patience, empathy, and the ability to motivate and inspire students.
Previous experience with virtual classrooms and digital teaching tools is an advantage.
