Manager - Accounts and Taxation

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Accounts & Taxation Manager to manage end-to-end accounting, reporting, and taxation services for our Singapore-based clients. This role requires a strong understanding of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS), Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) regulations, and the ability to manage multiple client portfolios effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Accounting & Reporting
  

  • Oversee full sets of accounts for a portfolio of Singapore clients, ensuring compliance with SFRS.
    

  • Review and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts.
    

  • Prepare year-end financial statements in compliance with statutory requirements.
    

  • Coordinate with auditors and support clients during statutory audits.
    

• Taxation
  

  • Manage and review corporate tax computations and filings (Form C-S, C).
    

  • Handle GST registration, filing, and advisory in line with IRAS requirements.
    

  • Advise clients on Singapore tax regulations, tax planning, and compliance matters.
    

  • Liaise with IRAS on client tax matters, queries, and correspondence.
    

• Client Management & Advisory
  

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client portfolios.
    

  • Provide proactive advisory on accounting, compliance, and taxation issues.
    

  • Develop strong client relationships and ensure high levels of service delivery.
    

• Team & Process Management
  

  • Supervise and guide a team of accountants/executives.
    

  • Review work prepared by junior staff to ensure accuracy and compliance.
    

  • Implement best practices and process improvements to enhance efficiency.
    

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
  

• Professional qualification preferred (CPA, ACCA, CA Singapore, or equivalent).
  

• Minimum 6–8 years of relevant experience in accounting and tax, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial role.
  

• Strong knowledge of SFRS, IRAS corporate tax, and GST regulations.
  

• Experience in handling multiple client portfolios, preferably in a professional services/outsourcing firm.
  

• Strong leadership, communication, and client management skills.
  

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB) and Microsoft Office.
