WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We’re seeking a highly organized, outcome‑driven program leader who thrives in fast‑moving, ambiguous environments. You bring the structure needed to tame complexity, the influence to align cross‑functional teams and executives, and the confidence to drive change even when stakes are high. You use Jira as an operational command center and bring clarity, discipline, and efficiency to large, vendor‑heavy transformation programs.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:


As a Full-Time Specialist on our team, you will work remotely and lead a multi‑workstream transformation program by establishing order in chaotic environments, enforcing delivery discipline, eliminating ambiguity, and driving alignment across technology, business, and vendor teams. You’ll facilitate executive decisions with crisp, data‑driven insights and build program efficiency through strong Jira governance, proactive communication, and relentless focus on outcomes.


QUALIFICATIONS:
 
  • 10+ years leading large‑scale program or technical program management initiatives across complex, cross‑functional environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize chaos: creating structure, governance, operating models, and predictable execution frameworks.
  • Proven track record influencing executives, business leaders, and technical teams, driving alignment and difficult decisions.
  • Strong communicator capable of distilling complexity into concise, transparent updates that shape action and accountability.
  • Advanced Jira user (not an admin): expert in leveraging Jira for dependency tracking, dashboards, program‑level visibility, and risk identification. *Atlassian Certifications in Agile Project Management with Jira or Jira Software is preferred.
  • Experience leading vendor‑driven delivery and orchestrating multi‑team dependencies across internal and external partners.
  • Comfortable navigating politically complex environments, pushing back when needed, and escalating decisively with evidence.

RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Establish order, structure, and efficiency across multiple workstreams, ensuring disciplined execution and predictable delivery.
  • Drive organizational alignment by influencing stakeholders across engineering, product, operations, vendors, and executive leadership.
  • Use Jira to build program‑level dashboards, dependency maps, commit vs. actual views, and early‑warning insights that drive behavioral change.
  • Improve program efficiency by identifying operational gaps, reducing noise, streamlining processes, and unblocking teams.
  • Lead executive‑level updates with clarity, transparency, and fact‑based storytelling that accelerate decision‑making.
  • Navigate ambiguity and complex stakeholder dynamics with confidence—re‑sequencing work, challenging assumptions, and setting guardrails.
  • Act as the gatekeeper for new requests, ensuring roadmap integrity and escalating scope shifts when needed.
  • Maintain deep understanding of program details (roadmap, sequencing, team roles, and technical constraints) to confidently steer timelines and commitments.
