Senior C# Developer

This is a remote position.

Our company is undergoing a system wide improvement initiative of all core platforms. This endeavor will require integration of all the core systems and third-party providers via platforms and internally written code.  This endeavor also includes data integration for the enterprise.

The Senior C# Developer will work closely with the IT team and the business divisions to optimize the performance and operations of the systems. The Senior C# Developer has ownership of internally written code, code written by third parties on behalf of 5.11, training and education, and working with the global support staff as well as Microsoft.  The Senior C# Developer will ensure themselves and their team are accountable for: Helping architect Enterprise systems, aiding the Business Analysts in evaluating line of business needs, assisting in identifying and developing system solutions, determining system implications, assisting with testing/test scripts, release notes, user guides, workflow diagrams, and training.

Successfully Meets/Exceeds Expectations in the following:

·        Management and execution against project plans and delivery commitments

·        Work closely with the business analysts to architect and develop the best technical design and approach to solving problems

·        Report on status of development, quality, operations, and system performance to SDM

·        Evaluating software solutions and system performance

·        Consulting with management and other developers to determine software solution requirements.

·        Managing the development, deployment, and integration of software solutions.

·        Collaborating with front end users on software functionality.

·        Resolving software deployment and integration errors, and documenting processes.

·        Performing routine maintenance and monitoring performance metrics.

·        Keeping abreast of new software technologies, as well as conforming to best practices in cybersecurity

·        Occasional travel to other locations as needed

Requirements

·    Minimum 5+ years as a Senior Developer

·    BS/MS in EE or Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualifications with 5+ years’ experience with a proven track record in delivering production quality software

·    Experience with C, C++, .Net and other relevant programming languages for embedded environments

·    Experience with common database/query languages, with an emphasis on T-SQL

·    Innovative, curious, analytical problem-solver with an interest in technology and a bias to action.

·    Experience with a variety of software development techniques (e.g. Agile, Lean, Waterfall, Spiral, etc.)

·    Flexible and self-directed with a track record of delivery of leading-edge software products

·    Expertise in customer focused design, system architecture and software product development

·    Proven experience in executing system level integration of multiple software components

·    Proficient in software engineering principles, frameworks and technologies
