Requirements:

  • Understand customer needs; collaborate with the procurement team to meet client needs; build and maintain long-term relationships with customers to support business growth.
  • Connect with potential clients on platforms like LinkedIn; conduct research to identify potential clients and grow existing accounts; schedule meetings or calls between clients and the sales team to close deals.

Job description

This is a remote position.

  • We are looking for a proactive intern to support our Sales & Business Development team.
  • This internship is ideal for students or recent graduates who want to learn about global trade and business growth.
  • You will research, connect with, and manage relationships with international clients to help grow the business.

*What You Will Do*

Sales & Business Growth

  1. Research and contact new customers across different countries.
  2. Identify and activate new business opportunities through multiple sales channels.
  3. Work with the sales team to improve sales and marketing strategies.
  4. Track and report sales performance on a weekly and monthly basis.

Managing Leads & Opportunities

  1. Use Zoho CRM to manage customer information.
  2. Analyze and qualify potential clients and update the sales pipeline.
  3. Respond quickly to client inquiries and follow up on leads.

Engaging with Clients

  1. Understand customer needs and work on providing solutions.
  2. Collaborate with the procurement team to meet client needs.
  3. Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers to support business growth.

Social Media & Client Research

  1. Connect with potential clients on platforms like LinkedIn.
  2. Conduct research to identify potential clients and grow existing accounts.
  3. Recommend solutions based on client needs and market trends.
  4. Schedule meetings or calls between clients and the sales team to close deals.


Requirements

What We’re Looking For

  1. Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in business, marketing, international trade, or a related field.
  2. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  3. Quick learner who can work independently after training.
  4. Attention to detail when researching and qualifying leads.
  5. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills (Not Required, but a Plus!)

  1. Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Zoho, Salesforce).
  2. Experience in sales or start-up environments is a bonus.
