Senior Windchill Technical Consultant/Developer (Part-Time)

This is a remote position.

We are seeking a skilled Senior Windchill Technical Consultant/Developer with 5+ years of experience in Windchill development. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in customizing and configuring Windchill PLM, integrating it with SAP systems, and delivering tailored solutions for complex business requirements.

This role requires a developer with solid Java skills, experience with PLM-ERP integration patterns, and proficiency in API and web services development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop custom solutions and enhancements within the Windchill PLM platform.
  
• Implement integration points between Windchill and SAP systems for seamless data exchange.
  
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including solution designs and specifications.
  
• Perform system configurations, customizations, and upgrades as needed.
  
• Develop test cases, perform unit testing, and support quality assurance efforts.
  
• Mentor junior developers, providing technical guidance and support.
  
• Analyze complex business requirements and deliver technical solutions to address them.
  
• Conduct code reviews, participate in technical design sessions, and ensure adherence to coding standards.
  

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in Windchill development, including customizations and configurations.
  
• Programming Skills: Strong Java development expertise.
  
• Integration Expertise: Knowledge of PLM-ERP integration patterns, with experience integrating Windchill with SAP systems.
  
• Web Services & APIs: Proficiency in developing and consuming RESTful and SOAP web services.
  
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address technical challenges effectively.
  
• Source Control: Experience with source control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines for deployment.
  

Preferred Skills (Optional):

• Experience with database technologies and SQL.
  
• Familiarity with Windchill tools such as Creo View or ThingWorx.
  
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
  
• Knowledge of cloud-based deployment and architecture.
