Job description

This is a remote position.

Job Description:

We are seeking a versatile mid-level Commercial & Corporate Associate with a strong foundation in general commercial law, exposure to corporate and employment law matters, and a working knowledge of tax considerations. The ideal candidate will have 4–5 years of experience drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, advising on corporate structuring and compliance, and supporting clients on employment-related queries.

This position is ideal for a lawyer who enjoys advisory and transactional work, with the ability to analyze, draft, and revise a variety of commercial and corporate documents. Prior experience with UAE or GCC-based clients is highly preferred.


Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and revise a wide range of commercial agreements, including vendor contracts, NDAs, service agreements, and partnership agreements.

  • Advise clients on general corporate law issues, including governance, entity structuring, and regulatory compliance.

  • Provide legal guidance on employment law matters such as employment agreements, workplace policies, and termination procedures.

  • Support clients in understanding the legal and commercial implications of contract terms, with consideration for applicable tax and regulatory issues.

  • Conduct legal research related to corporate, commercial, employment, and tax issues across multiple jurisdictions.

  • Collaborate with client teams to ensure legal accuracy and alignment with business objectives.

  • Monitor legal developments in commercial, corporate, and employment law, and communicate relevant updates to clients.

  • Work with external counsel or specialists when necessary to provide jurisdiction-specific advice.



Requirements

  • Prior advisory work for UAE-based or GCC clients is highly preferred.

  • Familiarity with tax law considerations as they intersect with corporate and commercial legal issues is advantageous.
