This is a remote position.
We are seeking a highly organized HR Admin to manage the end-to-end recruitment and onboarding of construction labour for projects across Australia and New Zealand. This role is responsible for sourcing candidates, conducting vetting processes, issuing contracts, managing worker documentation, and ensuring full workforce compliance prior to site mobilisation.
The ideal candidate has prior experience in recruitment, HR administration, or workforce coordination within construction or labour hire environments and is comfortable managing multiple systems and compliance processes in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Sourcing
● Source construction labour through Facebook groups, WhatsApp communities, referrals, and online job platforms.
● Screen candidates for relevant trade experience, availability, and valid work rights in Australia or New Zealand.
● Conduct initial vetting interviews to assess suitability for project requirements.
● Maintain and update candidate pipelines and talent databases to ensure ongoing workforce availability.
Contracts & Onboarding
● Prepare and issue employment contracts and offer letters accurately and efficiently.
● Collect and verify required documentation including identification, visas, licences, tickets, and certifications.
● Track onboarding progress and ensure all documentation is completed prior to mobilisation.
Compliance & Systems
● Upload worker details into client induction portals and internal workforce systems.
● Maintain compliance registers including visas, medical clearances, trade tickets, and inductions.
● Ensure all workers meet compliance requirements before site commencement.
● Support workforce audits, reporting, and documentation reviews as required.
Requirements
● Minimum 2 years of experience in recruitment, HR administration, or workforce coordination.
● Previous exposure to construction, labour hire, or blue-collar workforce environments is preferred.
● Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).
● Highly organized with strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
● Comfortable working across multiple online platforms, compliance systems, and databases.
● Ability to work independently in a remote setting while coordinating with project teams across regions.
