Role Overview
The Marketing Assistant plays a critical execution and coordination role within the Marketing team. This individual ensures campaigns, projects, and events move forward efficiently, timelines are respected, and stakeholders remain aligned.
This role is ideal for someone highly organized, proactive, and detail oriented who enjoys bringing structure to fast moving initiatives and enabling others to perform at their best.
Key Responsibilities
Include but not limited to:
Marketing Execution & Support
Assist with the execution of marketing campaigns across digital, email, content, and events
Coordinate the creation and delivery of marketing assets (emails, landing pages, social posts, presentations, collateral)
Support content publishing and campaign launches by managing deadlines, approvals, and handoffs
Maintain marketing calendars and ensure timelines are accurate and up to date
Help track campaign performance and organize reporting metrics
Project Management
Own project coordination for marketing initiatives from kickoff to completion
Build and manage project plans, timelines, and task assignments
Serve as the point of contact between marketing, sales, vendors, and external partners
Proactively identify risks, delays, or bottlenecks and help resolve them
Keep stakeholders informed with clear status updates and follow-ups
Event Planning & Management
Support planning and execution of events (in-person, virtual, and hybrid)
Coordinate logistics including timelines, vendors, registrations, materials, and on-site needs
Assist with event promotion, attendee communications, and follow-up campaigns
Manage event run-of-show documents and post-event wrap-ups
Track event budgets, invoices, and deadlines as needed
Operational & Administrative Support
Maintain marketing documentation, processes, and SOPs
Organize files, templates, and project tools to improve team efficiency
Assist with vendor coordination, contracts, and scheduling
Support ad hoc projects as the marketing team scales
Key Skills and Qualifications
1 to 3 years of experience in marketing, project coordination, or administrative support within a fast paced environment
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail and strong process discipline
Experience working cross functionally with internal teams and external partners
Proficiency in marketing platforms, CRM systems, project management tools, and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
Proactive, solutions oriented mindset with a high level of accountability
