Roles & Responsibilities

Requirements:

  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads and conduct discovery calls to drive Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) in collaboration with Account Managers, Customer Success Managers, and Lead Development
  • Conduct market and account research to identify active/upcoming projects, map stakeholders, and execute personalized outreach to convert prospects into SQLs and drive account growth
  • Execute high-volume outbound prospecting (calls, emails, LinkedIn) with pre-call research, daily outreach, follow-ups, and nurturing of contacts while maintaining accurate Zoho CRM records
  • Familiarize yourself with the construction industry, Evercam's products, and the value they provide to customers

Job description

This is a remote position.

Job Summary:

As a Business Development Representative on the Mission-Critical team, you'll be responsible for phone, email, and LinkedIn outreach, qualifying inbound leads, booking demos for the sales team, utilizing lead generation tools, data entry, creating email sequences, and keeping CRM information up to date.

You’ll be part of the US team, and while this is a fully remote role, we are specifically looking for candidates based in LATAM or the Philippines who can work US business hours.

Responsibilities:

  • Familiarize yourself with the construction industry, Evercam's products, and the value we provide our customers.

  • Learn how to qualify marketing-generated inbound leads and conduct effective discovery calls.

  • Work cross-functionally with Account Managers, Customer Success Managers, and Lead Development to own outbound outreach and lead nurturing efforts that drive Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) and account growth. 

  • Conduct market and account research to identify active and upcoming projects within assigned accounts and remit, map key stakeholders involved, and execute personalised outreach to convert prospects into Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs).

  • Conduct daily activities, including:

  • Outbound outreach 

  • Pre-call research and planning.

  • Make a high volume and quality outreach of calls/emails/LinkedIn per day.

  • Follow up with previous contacts (nurturing leads).

  • Maintain Zoho CRM records.



Requirements

  • 1-2 Years of business development/sales experience in a B2B professional environment.

  • Experience with mission-critical outreach, engaging prospects where reliability, safety, and operational continuity are essential.​

  • Previous SDR or BDR experience in Saas/Construction industry experience preferred.

  • Strong written and verbal communication, phone skills, and English fluency are required.

  • Experience with CRM and email outreach platforms.

  • Outbound prospecting experience.

  • Worked both independently and as a team player.

  • Interest in innovative construction technology.

  • Highly self-motivated with the ability to collaborate across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and making quick decisions aligned with company strategy.

  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • High level of discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive data.

  • Interest in a role with growth potential into Sales or BDR management.

  • Ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
