About you:
- Have you gained experience in a financial technology company as a BA or by doing similar scoping-related tasks? This role requires a good understanding of technical scoping in an Agile manner to cater to our multiple Engineering teams.
- Critical to succeed in this role is the ability to quickly grasp complex systems.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. A strong and professional communicator is desirable. Actively contributes to their group to complete tasks, meet goals, or manage projects.
About the role:
This role forms part of a high-performing Service Delivery team that works closely with technology and other cross-functional teams within our global financial technology business. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to grow their industry-specific skills and become a respected leader.
- Responsible for IT project scoping documentation such as Business Requirement Documents, User Stories, Storyboards, Service Blueprints, and Process Flows.
- This role allows you to work closely with stakeholders from various departments in very early stages of the project, involving feasibility studies and discovery.
- Managing multiple projects simultaneously and handling interdepartmental workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an effort to gather requirements and scope projects and features comprehensively.
- Build a strong understanding and become an expert in the tools used and the in-house products.
- Responsible for User Acceptance Testing and other ad-hoc tasks as required to support the organization.
Experience:
- Experience required to +3 years in medium to large projects as a Functional or Technical Business Analyst.
- Proven track record in communicating requirements both verbally and through user stories, with logical and clear acceptance criteria that are easily understood by developers, testers, and other stakeholders.
- Experience in integration projects requiring comprehensive knowledge of APIs, webhooks, and the ability to manage multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to work across different teams with competing interests and priorities, and the ability to get things done in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
- Platform experience will be highly regarded: Jira, Confluence, Trello, Monday, Miro, and Slack. Savvy users of mobile phone applications and experience in this space will be preferred.
