DevOps Manager

Day Translations is a global translation and interpreting company. We help improve worldwide communication through accurate, localized translations, interpretation, and outsourcing services, and a wide variety of tailored language solutions for individuals, organizations, and businesses of all sizes.

Position type: Full-time (40 hours per week)
Location: Remote (worldwide)

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Manager to lead and strengthen our engineering operations. You will be responsible for overseeing our cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and operational reliability across all platforms. This role combines hands-on technical leadership with team coordination and process optimization. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with modern stacks, leverages AI-assisted development tools, and understands how to support fast-moving product and engineering teams in a global environment.

Job Description:

• Lead and manage DevOps practices across development, staging, and production environments
• Design, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for modern web applications
• Manage cloud infrastructure using modern, scalable architectures
• Ensure system reliability, uptime, performance, and security
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting to proactively detect issues
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams working with React.js, Node.js, and related technologies
• Support infrastructure needs for internal tools, client-facing platforms, and integrations
• Enforce best practices for version control, deployment, access control, and compliance
• Use AI-powered tools to improve efficiency in coding, automation, troubleshooting, and infrastructure management
• Lead incident response and post-mortem processes when needed
• Continuously improve workflows, documentation, and operational standards

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a DevOps Manager, DevOps Lead, or Senior DevOps Engineer
• Strong understanding of modern JavaScript-based stacks, including React.js and Node.js
• Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, or similar)
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, containerization, and infrastructure automation
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development and automation tools for coding and DevOps workflows
• Solid understanding of system security, performance optimization, and scalability
• Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
• Experience working with remote, globally distributed teams
