Job description

PJI Law, PLC, is a boutique, service-focused, and fast-growing law firm headquartered in the Washington, DC area. We are seeking a motivated virtual/remote Intake Specialist I to join our Intake team.


This is not a traditional data-collection role. Instead, it is a sales position for team members who care about people, have an eye for detail, can multitask with administrative work, and have a strong desire for uncapped bonus opportunities. Legal Foundation and Sales Training will be provided. Sales experience is required, and telesales/inside sales experience is preferred. If you are driven by serving people, making a difference, and earning uncapped income, then this role is designed for you. 


Key Responsibilities & Requirements: 

  • Pick up the phone within 5 seconds of ringing
  • Respond to client and prospective client inquiries within 8 business hours
  • Warm calling prospective clients
  • Learn and manage CRM platforms
  • Close over-the-phone sales
  • Protect the firm from unqualified leads
  • Growth mindset with the ability to adapt to change
  • Multitask with administrative responsibilities
  • Help anyone who calls our firm
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace
  • Fluent in English (ability to email in US English)
  • Prepare Client Agreements for potential new clients

  • Ability to work US Business Hours:
    • Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm Eastern Standard Time.
    • 3:00 pm/4:00 pm until 12:00 am/1:00 am South African Standard Time, depending on the time of year.


Technology Requirements

It is essential that you have the following, or must be willing and able to obtain them, prior to your start date.


  • Computer with Solid State Drive (SSD), 500 GB storage or better, 16 GB RAM or better, and a CPU/processor capable of running Windows 11 or later (for example, Intel 8th gen processor)
  • Separate mouse
  • Webcam
  • Headphones with a microphone
  • Uninterrupted power supply (i.e., UPS, inverter)
  • Internet: fiber or equivalent, minimum 100 mbps. Uncapped and 24/7
  • Connection must be via Ethernet cable, rather than Wi-Fi. If necessary, it will be required to make adjustments/upgrades to your internet until the connection is appropriate for the work


Compensation:

  • Structure: Base Salary + Bonus + Competetive Bonuses
  • On-Target Earnings: ~$14,480.00 - $17,380.00 
  • High-Performance Potential: ~$23,170.00 - $28,970.00+
