  • Conducts ongoing, periodic, and final data analyses using specialized techniques and programming; writes and collaborates on manuscripts, abstracts, and other publications; collaborates on long-range research planning.
  • Leads dissemination of research findings to community partners, stakeholders, and the general public; coordinates community-engaged initiatives and works in the ACCESS lab at Marcus Autism Center.

  • Designs and applies scientific and numerical models in research.
  • Oversees development and integrity of data collection and instruments.
  • Conducts on-going, periodic and final analyses of data, using specialized techniques and programming.
  • Writes and collaborates with other researchers on manuscripts, abstracts and other publications of research findings.
  • Collaborates with other researchers on long-range plan for overall research.
  • Performs related responsibilities as required.

ADDITIONAL JOB DETAILS:

  • Manage community-engaged initiatives and supervises staff (including fellows, graduate students, and research coordinators) in the ACCESS lab at Marcus Autism Center.
  • Responsible for administrative, financial, staffing and planning aspects of research.

  • Writes and collaborates with other researchers on manuscripts, abstracts and other publications of research findings.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A bachelor's degree in a scientific field; related master's degree preferred.
  • Five years of professional research experience.
  • Three years of supervisory experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of applied work with children/families, experience with children on the autism spectrum preferred.
  • 5+ years experience with coordination of large teams and clinical operations.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Community-engaged research experience.

NOTE: Position tasks are generally required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location.  Remote work from home day options may be granted at department discretion. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.
