Lead Backend Engineer

We are seeking an exceptionally talented Lead Backend Engineer to join our rapidly growing consulting team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on high profile projects at the cutting edge of the software industry.

To be considered for this position, you must have the following qualifications: 

• 10+ years development experience with backend technologies, including experience with modern backend architecture (i.e. microservices, etc.)
• Significant development experience with C# and .NET.
• Experience building and deploying solutions on cloud services (Azure preferred)
• Experience designing, building, and deploying scalable, distributed applications using independent services, focusing on APIs, containers, cloud platforms (Azure preferred), and CI/CD.
• Hands-on experience contributing to AI/ML-enabled products, such as integrating ML models or AI services into production backend systems (e.g., APIs, pipelines, inference services).
• Experience collaborating with ML/AI specialists to translate models into scalable, reliable backend solutions (deployment, monitoring, performance, data flow).
• Team Leadership and management experience
• Fast learner with a can-do attitude and exceptional problem-solving abilities
• Self-sufficient, proactive, and comfortable working collaboratively on remote projects
• English skills (ability to effectively communicate via written and spoken English)
• A degree in computer science (or equivalent)

Ideal candidates will also have: 

• Experience in a client-facing role managing and delivering software engineering projects
• Experience architecting solutions on modern backend platforms
• Experience with relational databases (Postgres, SQL Server, MySQL, etc.)
• Strong understanding of DevOps concepts/process and CI/CD tools
• Understanding of React.js and its core principles.
