Rigits is seeking a detail-oriented Remote Bookkeeper / Client Cleanup Assistant to support the Client Implementation Lead with onboarding and cleanup of new client accounts. This role focuses on investigative bookkeeping, historical review, and structured cleanup work performed under guidance and supervision.
In addition to cleanup projects, this role will also maintain a consistent monthly workload of ongoing client closings. Strong time management, prioritization, and attention to detail are essential. All work is subject to internal review and documentation standards.
As new clients are onboarded, their financial records often require careful review, investigation, and alignment with firm standards before transitioning into ongoing monthly bookkeeping. This role exists to ensure client accounts are accurate, well documented, and properly structured from the start.
Your work directly impacts the quality of client relationships and the long-term success of Rigits’ engagements.
This is not a production-only bookkeeping role. You will be expected to think critically, investigate discrepancies, document findings, and apply feedback consistently. You will work closely with experienced team members who care deeply about doing work the right way and who view feedback as an investment in your growth.
