Roles & Responsibilities

Domain knowledge of manufacturing and machining processes involved in 5C components, drawing reading, and knowledge of process quality control parameters and techniques.
Ability to understand technical and commercial requirements for setting up a casting shop and to evaluate alternatives with cost-benefit analysis.
Hands-on experience with casting shop equipment/plant setup and knowledge of casting parameter calculations and casting equipment design; product development concepts.
Proficiency with CAD/CAE tools such as Uni-graphics, AutoCAD, Factory-CAD; familiarity with Metal Flow Simulation (not mandatory).

Requirements:

Evaluate casting shop setup options and conduct cost-benefit analyses to guide decision-making.
Communicate specific requirements to suppliers, monitor development progress, and ensure manufacturability and quality control at supplier sites.
Provide product development concepts and oversee casting parameter calculations and equipment design to support component development.
Travel across USA to supplier sites as required and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely project delivery.

Job Title- Casting Engineer with Aerospace domain exp

Location- Remote

Note- Selected person needs to travel all across USA to P & W supplier sites.

Mandatory Skills:-

Domain knowledge of manufacturing processes machining processes involved in 5C components, drawing reading, Knowledge of process quality control parameters and techniques
Ability to understand technical and commercial requirements for set-up of Casting shop to evaluate alternatives with Cost-benefit analysis
Hands on experience on equipment / plant set-up related to casting shop.
Product development design Concepts
Knowledge of calculation of Casting parameters, Casting component casting equipment design.
Familiar with softwares such as Uni-graphics, Auto-cad, Factory-CAD, Metal Flow Simulation (Not mandatory)
Ability to effectively communicate specific requirements with suppliers and monitor the overall development process at supplier end
Strategic Thinking Strong execution orientation and problem solving approach
