Roles & Responsibilities

  • 5+ years of experience in React and Node.js
  • Experience with modern React frameworks such as Next.js or Remix
  • Experience in a product-focused company with a strong UX/UI emphasis (startup experience preferred)
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with loosely defined requirements; product-oriented, autonomous, and passionate

Requirements:

  • Develop and maintain features for a customer management platform using React on the frontend and Node.js on the backend
  • Work within a Turborepo-powered monorepo with Next.js frontend deployed on Vercel and a Node.js backend deployed on AWS (Postgres/Redis/Rockset)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams via GitHub, Slack, Notion, and Linear to ship features in a fast-paced startup environment with a strong UX/UI focus
  • Own feature delivery from concept to production with an autonomous, product-oriented approach and ensure observability and reliability (e.g., monitoring with Datadog)

Job description

Our client, a French startup (14 now, growing to 20 this year) which is developing a customer management platform, is looking for a passionate Senior Fullstack Engineer with a broad experience with React .

Requirements:

  • Mandatory 5y+ experience in React and Node.js. Ideally, experience with modern React frameworks like NextJs or Remix.
  • Experience working in a product company that had a strong focus on UX and UI.
  • Startup experience. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced company with loosely defined requirements.
  • They are looking for someone who is product oriented, passionate and autonomous.

Tech stack:

  • Backend: NodeJs, Postgres, Redis, and Rockset. Deployed on AWS.
  • Frontend: NextJs, deployed on Vercel
  • Monitored on Datadog
  • Built-in a monorepo powered by Turborepo
  • Tools: GitHub, Slack, Notion, Linear
