Roles & Responsibilities

  • Hands-on experience in SAP Data Services/BODS
  • Experience designing, developing and maintaining ETL jobs in SAP Data Services/BODS
  • Knowledge of SAP integration technologies such as IDOCs and BAPIs
  • Strong understanding of data migration methodology (ETL) including profiling, cleansing, and validation

Requirements:

  • Create, manage and enhance ETL processes using SAP Data Services/BODS
  • Extract data from multiple sources (flat files, SQL Server, SAP) and transform/load into the target database
  • Design and develop SAP Data Services/BODS jobs by understanding functional specifications and mapping documents
  • Map extracted data to SQL Server, generate reporting tables as per business requirements

Job description

Duration of the project : 6+ months

Experience Level: 5 to 9 Yrs

Shift Timings: IST 5 PM to 1 AM; IST 6 PM to 2 AM


Good hands on experience in SAP Data Services/BODS

Create, Manage and Enhance the ETL using SAP Data Services/BODS

Extract the data from different sources such as flat file, SQL Server, SAP and perform the

required transformation to load the data into the target database.

Design and develop the jobs in SAP Data Services/BODS by understanding the functional

specification and mapping document.

Map the extracted data to SQL Server database based on the requirements.

Generate reporting tables as per the business requirement.

Knowledge of standard SAP integration technologies such as IDOCs and BAPIs

Familiarity with data conversion on CRM applications and projects will be an advantage

Strong understanding of Data Migration Methodology (ETL) including profiling, cleansing,

and validation activities

Should be capable of delivering complex ETL requirements

Good understanding of RDBMS
