Roles & Responsibilities

5+ years of advanced ABAP development with OData/Portal experience
S/4HANA development with CDS, AMDP, OData services, RESTful interfaces
Extensibility on S/4HANA (in-app and Side-by-Side) and RAP development
Strong knowledge of SAP NetWeaver Gateway, Fiori Apps, and RFC/BAPI/BADI

Requirements:

Analyze systems for business requirements and propose technical solutions
Design and develop ABAP programs on S/4HANA using OO ABAP, CDS, AMDP, and OData/RFC interfaces
Design, develop, and maintain OData services via CDS/AMDP; design test criteria and perform unit testing; manage RFCs/BAPI/BADI
Provide technical support to functional consultants; develop technical designs; ensure timely, high-quality deliverables and mentor junior team members

Job description

Job Description:

5+ years of Advanced ABAP, ODATA & Portal development

Role:

S/4 HANA & ODATA Expert - 5 FTE

Skill sets:

S4 HANA Development with CDS & AMDP
ODATA & Restful API interfaces
Extensibility on S4 HANA. In APP Extension & Side by Side extension
RAP Restful Application programming
Advance ABAP development in integration area
Working knowledge of RFCs & Fiori application
Good knowledge SAP logistic module

Expected deliverables:

Analyze system for business requirement
Design and Propose technical solution
Design and develop various programs on S4 HANA environment with ABAP OO, CDS & AMDP
Design & Develop ODATA services with CDS, AMDP & RFCs
Design, develop, maintain SAP ABAP programs using oops
Expert knowledge of SAP NetWeaver Gateway
Knowledge of SAP Fiori Apps
Develop, Enhance BAPI, BADI, RFCs
Design criteria and test cases for unit testing; perform unit testing and document results.
Provide technical support to functional consultants.
Develop technical design, follow defined process for timely completion of high-quality deliverables.
Train junior members and ensure their developments meet require test and quality standards
Understand project plans, support requirements and estimate for assigned work.
Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of assigned developments.

Knowhow on:

Solution Manager
Eclipse

Knowhow on methodologies:

ITIL based processes
DevOps Agile way of working

Duration of assignment:

6 calendar months initially; Start date 2ND January 2023

Work location:

From service provider office; or from home of the person.
The person may have to report to tk MITS office in Thane as and when required; which could be as frequent as once a week.
Travel for business is not envisaged but cannot be ruled out.

Work Timings:

We work typically in CET time zone (1100-2000 Hrs IST).
Since the customer entity is in ET (US East Coast), the person may have to perform work in this time zone sometimes.

Device:

Service provider to equip the person with laptop and Internet connectivity.

Laptop shall have the following specifications: Processor i7 or later; RAM 16 GB or more; OS: Windows 10 PRO build 2004 or later.
Anti-Virus: Windows Defender, or McAfee preferred. Office: MS O365 suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PPT) Tools: SAP GUI 7.60
Tk MITS IT Support shall be able to install tools to ensure secure connection from this laptop into thyssenkrupp Network; and other software that may be necessary to enable the person to perform work for thyssenkrupp.
