Job description

QA Lead

Remote

YOE: 6+ Years

Minimum of 4 years of experience as a quality engineer or software development engineer in testing environment.
Minimum of 2 years of experience developing automated tests for web-based UIs, APIs & web services.
Minimum of 4 years testing full stack web-based applications.
Strong experience trouble shooting web applications.
Strong experience writing complex SQL queries (i.e. MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)
Experience in Cypress framework OR strong JavaScript/.NET experience to be able to learn Cypress
Experience working in an AWS infrastructure and/or on Linux
Experience maintaining CI/CD/CT environments
Experience working in an Agile Software Development organization
Experience with load or performance testing
Excellent written & verbal communications skills
A strong desire to learn, grow and teach others

Nice to have:
Experience developing web applications in PHP, JavaScript or any other language strongly desired
Experience with Elasticsearch, Kibana, New Relic, DataDog or other data reporting platforms strongly desired
Experience testing mobile applications on iOS and Android strongly desired

Position Responsibilities
Develop test plans, test designs, test objectives, and test cases for both manual & automation
Create and manage bugs throughout the bug lifecycle
Work with product owners & development team members to deliver the highest quality software & services for our customers
Review project requirements to identify additional use cases and dependencies
Execute all forms of tests, create automated tests, and maintain manual & automated regression suites
Develop tools, scripts, platforms, documentation or whatever is needed to make the job easier
Identify areas of improvement both for our products & development processes
Triage reported production issues
Report testing status, milestones and issue trends
