Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced MERN Stack Developer with a strong background in eCommerce and travel

technology solutions. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of hands-on experience building scalable web applications

and APIs using the MongoDB, MySQL, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js stack, with a proven track record of

delivering user-centric features in high-traffic eCommerce and travel industry environments. Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable full-stack applications tailored for eCommerce solutions. Develop secure and optimized RESTful APIs for product catalogs, carts, orders, payments, etc. Build rich, dynamic front-end features for seamless customer experience using React.js. Ensure responsive UI/UX for both desktop and mobile eCommerce experiences. Work on complex modules like cart management, checkout flows, payment gateway integrations, inventory handling, and user authentication. Integrate with third-party services such as payment gateways, hotel/flight/transport APIs, CRMs, and analytics tools. Work on key features such as dynamic pricing, multi-vendor bookings, itinerary builders, cart abandonment flows, loyalty/reward systems, and user authentication flows. Implement SEO best practices, lazy loading, and performance optimization techniques. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, product owners, QA, and DevOps. Identify and resolve bugs, performance issues, and scalability bottlenecks in both front-end and back-end. Follow Agile methodologies, participate in daily standups, sprint planning, and code reviews.

Qualifications & Skills

Required:

4+ years of experience in full-stack development using MERN (MongoDB, MySQL, Express.js, React.js, Node.js). Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), React Hooks, Redux or Context API. Backend proficiency with Node.js, Express.js, and API development. Expertise in MongoDB and MySQL, with experience in designing schemas, indexing, and aggregation pipelines. Familiarity with Mongoose ODM and data modeling for large-scale eCommerce systems. Hands-on experience with payment gateways (e.g., Razorpay, Stripe, PayPal) and order lifecycle. Knowledge of user authentication & authorization (JWT, OAuth, session-based). Experience with responsive design and frontend frameworks like Tailwind CSS or Bootstrap. Git version control and familiarity with deployment pipelines (CI/CD). Basic DevOps understanding and experience with cloud deployments (AWS, Vercel, Heroku, or GCP). Domain-Specific Experience:

eCommerce domain experience: Understanding of shopping cart flows, product SKUs, inventory management, pricing engines, and order management. Travel domain experience: Hands-on experience with travel booking platforms (hotels, flights, buses), itinerary

planning, availability APIs (like Amadeus, Sabre, etc.), and dynamic pricing models. Familiarity with calendar syncing, location-based services, multi-currency support, and timezone handling. Understanding of product catalogs, SKU management, dynamic pricing, cart & wishlist handling. Experience integrating third-party services like CRMs, email platforms, shipping APIs, analytics tools, etc. Performance optimization for high-traffic user scenarios. Preferred:

Experience with TypeScript. Exposure to GraphQL. Familiarity with headless commerce or PWA (Progressive Web Apps). Understanding of microservices and serverless architecture. Performance optimization for high-traffic user scenarios. Prior experience working in travel aggregators or online marketplaces
