8-12 years total experience in data design/architecture
5+ years big data experience and 3 years as solution architect
Proficiency in SQL and data analysis with experience writing ETL mapping specifications
Experience designing ODS and Data Marts; familiarity with data warehouse architecture (loading strategies, backup, recovery)

Requirements:

Create logical and physical data models using best practices to ensure high data quality and reduced redundancy
Design Operational Data Stores (ODS) and Data Marts and architect the data warehouse including loading strategies, backup, recovery and scalability
Write SQL, perform data analysis, and provide ETL mapping specifications; collaborate with Business Analysts on enterprise information requirements
Leverage telecom/domain knowledge, data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau), and big data platforms (Databricks, HDFS) and MPP databases (Azure Synapse, Teradata) to implement solutions

Job description

Total experience: 8 - 12 years

Relevant experience: 5 ears of big data experience and 3 years’ solution architect

Salary: 170k P.A.

Remote work.

Should be able to create logical and physical data models using best practices to ensure high data quality and reduced redundancy

• Understanding of Telecom domain or good domain knowledge in any sector

• Expertise in writing SQL’s and perform data analysis

• Provide ETL mapping specification documents

• Experience in designing Operational Data Stores (ODS) and Data marts

• Designing a suitable technical architecture for the data warehouse implementation, these include loading strategies, backup, recovery and volumetric.

• Establishing the best practice approaches for solving business problems as well as providing inputs to the Business Analyst in terms of Enterprise informational Requirements

• Knowledge on any of the data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau etc)

• Good exposure on any of the big data platform like (data bricks, HDFS etc)

• Adept knowledge on any of MPP databases like Azure Synapse, Teradata etc.
