Experience in Recruitment & HR: Minimum 2.5–5 years in recruitment or HR roles, with a preference for candidates familiar with U.S. laws and regulations. Logistics or Manufacturing Industry Knowledge: Background in industries like trucking, logistics, or blue-collar recruitment is highly desirable. Tech Proficiency: Familiarity with HRIS systems, ATS platforms (e.g., Indeed), and Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience using recruiting software and social networks for sourcing candidates. Strong Communication Skills: Proven ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders, ensuring clarity and responsiveness. Organizational Skills: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain candidate databases, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Problem-Solving Ability: Adaptable and proactive approach to resolving issues, including interview cancellations and onboarding challenges. Self-Starter Mentality: Go-to attitude with the ability to work independently, think outside the box, and adapt to changing priorities. Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in tasks such as resume screening, scheduling interviews, and processing background checks.

Core responsibilities:

Recruitment Coordination: Source, screen, and interview candidates with experience in the logistics and manufacturing industries, ensuring alignment with U.S. hiring standards and compliance requirements. Onboarding Support: Develop and oversee the onboarding process, including background checks, drug screenings, and employment documentation, ensuring a seamless experience for new hires. HR Administrative Tasks: Manage employee records, track performance, and coordinate with internal teams for timekeeping, payroll discrepancies, and issue resolution. Vendor and Client Liaison: Act as a point of contact for vendors and external partners, addressing operational queries and ensuring smooth communication. Clerical Duties: Undertake administrative tasks such as answering emails, drafting offer letters, preparing and posting job ads online, and maintaining candidate databases. Status Updates & Reporting: Set up weekly status calls, present progress reports, and plan for upcoming recruitment milestones. Process Optimization: Identify areas for improvement in recruitment and HR workflows, implementing efficient systems to enhance productivity and meet tight deadlines. Time Zone and Communication Management: Provide day-to-day administrative support to the executive team, working U.S. PST hours and ensuring high-level communication skills.
