Proficiency in CAD Software – Strong skills in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar drafting programs for creating detailed technical drawings. Familiarity with Building Codes & Standards – Awareness of local building regulations, safety codes, and industry best practices. Strong Attention to Detail – Ability to produce accurate, precise, and high-quality drawings with minimal errors. Communication & Collaboration Skills – Experience working with designers, architects, contractors, and clients to develop and refine design solutions. 3D Visualization & Rendering Abilities – Proficiency in rendering software (e.g., SketchUp, Lumion, Enscape) to create realistic presentations. Education & Experience – 5+ years in drafting, with relevant experience in construction projects. Must have strong proficiency and experience working with Solidworks

Core responsibilities:

Create Detailed Drawings & Plans – Develop accurate technical drawings, floor plans, and elevations for renovation projects using CAD software. Collaborate with Designers & Clients – Work closely with designers and clients to translate concepts into workable designs. Ensure Compliance with Codes & Regulations – Verify that all drawings and specifications adhere to building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards. Prepare 3D Models & Visualizations – Generate 3D renderings and visual presentations to help clients visualize design concepts. Coordinate with Contractors & Suppliers – Communicate design details and specifications to builders, trades, and material suppliers to ensure accurate execution. Revise & Update Drawings – Modify designs based on client feedback, site conditions, and project requirements while maintaining version control. Assist in Material Selection & Documentation – Support the interior design team in selecting finishes, fixtures, and materials, and prepare detailed schedules and documentation.
